The original "BC Rocket Scientist"

Luz is a son of Contact Point's Disney by Woodland's Spin, born on June 15th, 1999. There were only three pups in the litter. Luz was second born.

His maternal grandmother Rina is imported from Sweden and hails from a long line of Swedish working Border Collies, going back to S(Vallh)CH Sambo REG V-4/68, the most famous Swedish herding champion.

Luz looks the most like his mother. He is 20 3/4" tall and weights 38 lbs. He is a split face technical tri (you have to look close to spot those tan points), with flashy white ruff and medium coat. One of his eyes is brown, the other is icy blue. Sheep beware!

Luz is a true son of Spin, boasting his father's trade-mark white ear tip, characteristic lip shape and the famous crouch. Above all, Luz has inherited Spin's best qualities: sharp intellect, high work ethic, sheer power and speed.

Luz is a high performance Border Collie. With the weight to height ratio of only 1.8, square built and long legs, he possesses a long stride and just the right angulation for powerful and fast movement. Oh, and did we mention, he turns on a dime?

Luz competes in Agility, Flyball and Herding. He loves to work. Ever since he was a pup, Luz preferred work to food, sleep and idle play. Luz is entirely clicker trained, he loves to solve problems and thrives on perfection.
